Fire in the Sky: an Artist's Love Affair with Colorado, was published in 2021, and tells the story of Jan's move to Colorado from Southern California as a young woman.  It is there that her artistic journey evolved from graphic design to fine art as her imagination was captured by the grandeur of her new home in the Arkansas River Valley.  With words, paintings, and personal photographs, Jan tells of her 50-year career painting the places, people, and scenes that shaped her mountain life.

Tales from a Rough, Tough, Wild Animal was added after her husband Dave's passing in 2023.  Jan compiled his stories of farm life and growing up in the 1950s and '60s in the Midwest.

Grit & Grace: FINDING GOD IN YOUR (Wild, Radical, Ruthless) YES was added in 2024.  It tells the story of Jan's journey with her husband Dave into his years with of Lewy Body Dementia and the powerful and loving lessons learned along the way.  Meant to encourage, guide, and comfort all those who travel hard pathways, Jan speaks with humor, authenticity, and vulnerability that will draw you in and give you hope.
